Formed in the heart of the Lion City, Sensorial is sure to impact all 5 senses of listeners. Inspired by a mix of old-school rock n' roll, alternative rock, hard rock, metal and power ballads. Sensorial's music will capture the hearts of listeners by giving an eye-opening different taste of music, with mixed feelings of emotion. We will leave you breathless.
Tell us a bit more about yourselves and your music.
Our music is inspired by a mixture of modern rock ballads and metal led by a tantalizing female voice. After writing the first songs on the EP, they managed to recruit a vocalist and the other 2 for the rhythm section, who were willing to join then on their haphazard journey of hilarity, sadness and euphoria.
What do you hope for the audience to imagine or feel when they listen to your songs?
We want our audience to rock out (obviously) and feel that even though there is always pain and suffering in the world, and it is unique to each individual, it is going to be okay. So, revel in each chord strummed, each note played, every beat played, and be immersed in the story.
What makes you guys gel as a band?
We can work together well because we all have a profound love for music as it has helped us through the best and worst of times. There are no egos or negative emotions when playing and writing the songs. Each of us has a role to play and we do it well. Oh, and teh tarik.
What’s your favourite thing about living in Singapore?
Food. Teh Tarik. Cats. Can lepak anywhere at night safely (unless we are the ones doing hooligan stuff, haha) and most of all, different races and religion but we all live together in harmony.
You guys seem to love teh tarik. Any special significance?
Coz teh tarik can cure anything!
Ok... Fast forward to 2040. Where do you see yourselves on the little red dot?
In 2040. We will be older, not necessarily wiser, and most importantly, as Sensorial, whether or not we are still active, we lived our dreams but for a brief moment.
3 words that best describe your band?
Intense, whimsical & galvanizing.
